Motherwort is also known as Lion's Ear and Lions Tail ; The leaves of this herb is characterized by a very bitter flavor and a hairy texture, plant native to Eastern Europe & Asia.

Commonly prescribed for conditions including: heart problems,Palpitations,Spasms,and Paralysis. Remedy for the nerves, Stimulates the muscles of the uterus and particularly suitable for delayed periods, period pains,and premenstrual tension. Lowers blood pressure.
Use in Teas: Small doses taken as tea is safe! Fibrous and grassy appearance, with no remarkable aroma.
Tincture or infuse in oil for use in ointments, salves and creams.
Self- help uses: Menstrual problems, Irregular cycle, and panic attacks.
Motherwort contains alkaloids (Including L-stachydrine), an iridoid (leonurine), diterpenes, flavonoids, caffeic acid and tannins.
